carbon
Is it not enough to study carbon dioxide within earth’s environment?
Hmmmn, external satellites to study environmental issues seems to be an important task but do we have to spend millions of dear US dollars yet again for this? If carbon dioxide is the subject matter, I think it will be cheaper to do it internally (at least inside our atmosphere) and not necessary to do it from outside from space. If imaging is only the main factor for the study, can we not use the existing satellites already on orbit? Why do we need to spend more money on these projects?
I guess it will be fine if it is a mission to mars or something like a mission to find other resources we can use from outer space but is it really necessary to study carbon dioxide from outer space? We should be thinking of the current recession and all those people what do not have anything to eat!
But then again, this is just a personal opinion… but sometimes an individual opinion is a singular representation of a cumulative thought and unless one has to speak, a voice can never be heard. I personally oppose such projects at this time of economic downtimes unless the financing comes from the decision of international bodies and not just Uncle Sam alone.
